Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario is proud to be participating in this annual awareness raising week to not only brings to light the many issues faced by victims and survivors, but provide the community with up to date information about the laws currently in place and services available to assist victims, survivors and their families cope with their issues.

Join EAPO for the presentation of the “Recognition Award for the Prevention of Elder Abuse". These individuals have demonstrated outstanding dedication and leadership in their communities, toward enhancing the response and assistance to older adults living at-risk or experiencing abuse.

If you have been a victim or witnessed a crime, and criminal charges have been laid, you will likely be required to attend court..The experience can often be difficult and confusing, particularly if you are vulnerable or have special needs. This session provides an overview of how the Victim Witness Assistance Program can assist older adults going through this process.
