The Regional Geriatric Program of Eastern Ontario is pleased to announce that their annual Geriatric Refresher Day is focused on a variety of topics related to dementia. This is event will be held virtually over two days: June 15th and June 22nd from 8:00 am - 12:30. Cost is 75$

Topics include: Navigating the System and Caregiver Lived Experience, Dementia in the Trenches, the Canadian Indigenous Cognitive Assessment Tool, Supporting Older Indigenous Adults by Incorporating Life Stories, Facilitating Person-Centered Communication with Persons Living with Dementia, How Tech can Support Persons with Dementia and their Caregivers, Caring for the Professional Caregiver, Pharmacological and Non-Pharmacological Management of Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia and a Practical Approach to Driving Reporting in Dementia.
