The YMCA Youth Cannabis Awareness Program (YCAP) is hosting a free online seminar in partnership with Drink Smart and the Youth Gambling Awareness Program. This event, titled “Spotlight on Youth: Alcohol, Gambling and Cannabis Use,” will take place via Zoom from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM EST on February 28th, 2023.
The seminar targets adults involved in the lives of youth, and its main focus is to explore risky youth behaviors and substance use. Each speaker will address common topics, including factors leading to risky behaviors, current trends in Canada, how to apply harm reduction strategies and where to find support and learn more.
Participants will be entered in a draw to win one of ten $15 Starbucks gift cards after attending by completing the post seminar survey.
