In the heart of every caregiver lies a story of resilience, hope, and unwavering support. This fall, Stella's Place, a beacon of excellence in evidence-based young adult mental health support, together with the Family Advisory Council, unveils a ground-breaking initiative: The Caregiver Community Program. Designed with empathy, education, and empowerment at its core, this free 12-week virtual journey is more than just a program—it's a transformation.

Crafted by caregivers and for caregivers, this interactive odyssey brings together a mosaic of voices, yours included. With contributions from seasoned caregivers, young adults, and family members all with lived experience, along with esteemed doctors, social workers, counselors, and healthcare professionals, we're weaving a tapestry of support that stretches far beyond the conventional.

The Caregiver Community Program offers regularly scheduled modules.  By participating in this program, participants will be able to:

  1. describe strategies to effectively interact with their young adult
  2. describe ways to navigate the complexities of medical and non-medical systems
  3. describe  the intricacies of medications
  4. describe ways to navigate crises,

In addition, participants may find solace in our caregiver café check-ins. The program doesn't just educate; it empowers, offering an interactive guidebook and a treasure trove of accessible resources. At Stella's Place, we're not just supporting young adults, we're uplifting the incredible caregivers behind them - YOU. Your journey of empowerment begins here.

"Bringing the insights of professionals and those with lived experience to you."

All modules will be moderated by Family Advisory Council members who will solicit the wisdom from their guests along with ample time to field questions and relevant topics raised by you.  Each module begins at 7 PM EDT, and are 60-75 minutes long, and will be recorded for subsequent access on the Program portal.
