Follow-Up Debrief Session: Monday, April 3, 2023 @ 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. ET

Presented by: Rebecca Bliss, MSW, RSW

As social workers, we can feel hopeless when a client, friend or family member is experiencing suicidal thoughts and behaviours. This workshop offers an introduction to interventions and protocols that can be used for intervention across the life course. The interventions will range from long, complicated therapeutic protocols to opportunities for intervention in the moment of assessment. This workshop is meant to be taken in follow-up to the suicide risk assessment course (and/or please be sure to have a baseline understanding of suicide risk assessment before attending). Join us for a follow-up community of practice to discuss cases, blocks and troubleshoot clinical experiences in suicide treatment. Help us reduce the stigma and increase competency in suicide assessment, treatment and intervention.

Cost:

  • OASW Members: $99
  • Non-Members/Allied Health Professionals: $149
