You may be affected by vicarious trauma, a common experience among clinicians, direct service workers, and advocates. This interactive workshop will take an in-depth look at vicarious trauma, and countertransference, contributing factors in its development, manifestations on a personal and professional level along with resiliency-based strategies to address it. Practical information is further developed through discussion, self-reflection exercises, and group activities, using an intersectional lens.
