Lived Experience & Recovery Network (LERN) is actively recruiting individuals to serve on our Board of Directors:

About LERN: Lived Experience & Recovery Network (LERN) empowers peer-led organizations and programs serving individuals with lived and living experience of mental health, substance use, and addiction across Northeastern Ontario, in the districts of Algoma, Sudbury, Nipissing, Muskoka–Parry Sound, and Cochrane–Temiskaming.

Our Leadership Team: Rooted in the values of peer support, our team consists of leaders with lived and living experience of mental health, substance use, and addiction. Across Northeastern Ontario, we work to uphold best practices in peer support while amplifying voices and advocating for individuals within the peer community.

Our Board of Directors: LERN is governed by a Board of 9 Directors who reflect the diversity of our region and membership. Executive roles include Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and directors. Board members provide strategic oversight and governance but are not involved in day-to-day operations.

• Be 18+ and reside in the Northeast Region of Ontario
