Join us for our June Waypoint Talks Session on Substance Use Disorder in Forensic Hospitals: Evidence Synthesis and Clinical Profiles, hosted by Dane Mauer-Vakil. Substance use disorders (SUD) are highly prevalent in individuals with mental illness who interact with the criminal justice system, and inpatient forensic hospital care presents an opportunity for treatment. This talk will provide an overview of SUD-related practices and interventions in forensic hospitals and present clinical profiles of forensic inpatients with SUD. This presentation may be relevant to clinicians, researchers, and/or health system champions interested in improving SUD care at their organizations.
