The Ontario Healthy Schools Coalition will be hosting their annual conference in London, Ontario on March 31st and April 1st at the Delta Armouries. The conference will feature Dr. Jean Clinton: Epic Formula for Understanding our Kids: Connections!

Dr. Clinton will speak to the power of connections for our children and youth and the effect that trauma can have on their brains. The impact of trauma affects learning, memory, and behaviours. Dr. Clinton will help participants understand why these behaviours occur and strategies to support the child in rewiring their brain.

The conference will also feature Reggie Leach : Hatittude!

Reggie is a former National Hockey League Player who works to promote resiliency and self-care among Indigenous children and youth in Canada. He promotes the 7 Grandfather teachings from the Indigenous Culture. Reggie will provide insight into the importance of positive attitudes and how that has made a difference in his life and the life of others.

Breakout sessions will be offered and will range from mindfulness for children, young engagement, supporting the LGBTQ2 youth and many other topics.
