This webinar focuses on emerging community-wide social responses to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Dr Alina Turner will discuss tools and training techniques to perform wellness checks, as well as provide an update on HelpSeeker's support to mobilize civil society in different communities across Canada, such as emerging trends and learnings over the last two weeks.
David Gabert (CMHA Lethbridge) and Diana Sim (Volunteer Lethbridge) will give an overview of the Wellness Checks program and training of volunteer Navigators in Lethbridge to help support vulnerable populations. Dena Kae Beno (City of Abbotsford) will present on their full-community response to address vulnerable population needs ranging from food, transportation, and shelter.
