When?
Date: June 23, 2020
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EDT
About the framework
The framework is meant to guide development processes, evaluation designs, and regulations that ensure that high-quality, evidence-based tools are available to use and scale with confidence within healthcare systems. This is critical to enhance access to services while containing costs. Although the framework focuses on youth, it is also applicable to adult populations.
The framework was developed by Dr. Yuri Quintana—HRI Collaborating Scientist and Chief of the Division of Clinical Informatics at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre, Harvard Medical School—in collaboration with Canadian and international leaders..
RBC Foundation funded the development of the framework.
About the webinar
HRI is seeking to collaborate strategically with other key organizations to enhance collective impact and add as much value as possible in Canada. In that spirit, this webinar will provide an overview of the new framework to key stakeholders and explore next steps.
The aim is to get advice on how HRI can support existing initiatives that are underway as this work moves forward.
In this webinar, you will:
- hear about the new evaluation framework and
- have an opportunity to give feedback on how HRI can work with others to add value to ongoing initiatives, such as Youth Wellness Hubs, digital mental health initiatives, regulatory initiatives, and strategic scientific agendas.
Opening remarks will be provided by Dr. Brian Rush, HRI Senior Scientist, Scientist Emeritus in the Institute for Mental Health Policy Research at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and Professor in the departments of Public Health Sciences and Psychiatry at University of Toronto.
