The Change Foundation and OHA will be co-hosting a webinar for those who want to learn more about this research on family presence and open visiting policies, and how Caregiver ID initiatives can play an important role in a family presence culture.
You will also hear from a healthcare provider who led the implementation in a hospital. She will share lessons learned and helpful reflections on how to integrate a Caregiver ID initiative with the introduction of a family presence policy.

This webinar highlights the partnership between The Change Foundation and the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA), where they interviewed a sample of Ontario's hospitals who have a range of experience with family presence and open visiting policies to get a sense of how the policies were developed and implemented, and what has changed for patients, families and caregivers, and staff. The report summarizes insights and reflections from interviews with hospital staff. The report also links the opportunity for hospitals who have experience with family presence policies or those who want to shift to family presence policies to consider the introduction of Caregiver Identification (ID) initiatives as part of their family presence culture. |
