Event date: -

Event type: Single day (a day or less)

If you are interested in learning more about how to review your OPOC data, we invite you to join us on Friday, February 7, 2020, 11:30am -12:30pm.

The Ontario Perception of Care Tool for Mental Health and Addictions (OPOC) is a standardized tool used to collect client feedback. Using your OPOC data effectively requires a thorough understanding of how the surveys are administered and how the results are presented in the reporting portal. In this webinar, we will discuss how OPOC results can have many possible explanations, review different ways of presenting OPOC data, and provide a live demonstration of the reporting portal and filters. We will conclude with one organization demonstrating how they use actual OPOC data for reporting and quality improvement purposes.

Presenters:

Chris Babcock is the Quality Improvement and Performance Officer at CMHA Middlesex and is a co-chair of the South West Continuous Quality Improvement Collaborative. She has worked in the mental health field for 29 years and has successfully led her agency through 6 accreditations and also led the implementation of the OPOC in CMHA Middlesex since 2016.

Derek Chechak is an Evaluator in the Provincial System Support Program at CAMH who has supported the implementation of OPOC since 2016. He is a Registered Social Worker, with degrees from King's University College at Western University, and his PhD from Memorial University. Prior to joining PSSP, he worked in tertiary mental health care and provided clinical leadership for a regional employee assistance provider.
