Webinar: Mental Health at Work: Compassion fatigue during COVID-19
Event date: -
Event type: Single day (a day or less)
Mental health professionals and other support workers tend to be the first point of contact for people experiencing emotional, mental and physical difficulties. Providing this level of constant care is demanding and can encroach upon the personal well-being of staff if adequate support measures are not in place, especially given the current context.
Mental Health Works (MHW) is a social-enterprise of the Canadian Mental Health Association-Ontario Division, that delivers mental health training to organizations nationwide. This MHW workshop touches on awareness building, responding skills, and collaborative change. It presents an overview of secondary traumatic stress and compassion fatigue that might impact professionals working to support those in needs in our community. Viewers will also leave with tangible tools to support mental health and contribute to everyone’s well-being at work.
I tried to register for this event and the webinar is already at capacity, will there be a recording of the webinar that I can access afterwards? Or are there any other dates available? Thank you, Veronica
Hi [@mention:373573648960762918], Mental Health Works is the organizer of the webinar. You can contact them to confirm info@mhworks.ca. I'm pretty sure they do share the recording afterwards. Once I receive it, I'll post here as well.
[@mention:309368104294438954], Thank you Angela, I will wait for the recording, hopefully they do share it (fingers crossed)
At capacity when I went to register - would like to be aware if there is another one offered please.
thanks so much
Hi, this webinar was at capacity when I went to register. Can you send powerpoint etc? thanks PT
Thanks Angela - I had tried to register as well. Thank you for making the recording available here if possible. I also emailed the address you shared above to see what they may say. Thanks again!
Will we receive a link to the webinar via email, today? The event is today at 1 p.m.
Hi [@mention:367941993883908311], I registered for this as well and received a link (assigned to registrants individually) from CMHA, right after I registered. If you did not receive a link, your registration likely did not go through or there was a typo in your email address entered. The registration is now at capacity, so hopefully they will send out a reminder again and you will receive it.
Waiting for a link to join meeting. did i perhaps get missed in email?
Hi [@mention:373573648954434709], when i registered, I received the Adobe Connect link (specific to my email) right away, emailed from CMHA.
hum, cannot seem to find it. is it possible to resend?
EENet is not the host/organizer of the event, so you'd have to contact Mental Health Works.
thank you for all your assistance!
I can't seem to log in to the Webinar for this, the link is not working, any suggestions
I couldn't get in, I registered but I was waiting for a LINK
