Webinar: What's in Ontario's unregulated drug supply?
Event date: -
Event type: Single day (a day or less)
A webinar series by Ontario's Drug Checking Community
There has never been a more important time for people who use drugs, community health workers, clinicians, first responders, public health units, policy makers, researchers, and others to know what’s being found in and contaminating Ontario’s unregulated drug supply.
On Wednesday, March 19, at 11am ET, we’re launching a quarterly webinar series dedicated to exploring and discussing unregulated drug market trends – particularly trends in the unregulated fentanyl supply – based on data from samples checked by Toronto’s Drug Checking Service and from other members of Ontario’s Drug Checking Community.
In early 2025, we’re noticing a significant decrease in fentanyl-related and benzodiazepine-related drugs we’ve previously found presenting in the unregulated fentanyl supply. Meanwhile, there’s been an increase in the presence of fentanyl proper, nitazene opioids, and veterinary tranquilizers.
Join us from 11:00am – noon ET by Zoom to learn more and share your local experiences!
