In this day long online workshop, Dr. Ruth Green will use storytelling and humour to discuss the historical and contemporary impacts of colonial/Indigenous relationships. Using Wampum Belts as a guide, Dr. Ruth Green will share and unpack some important moments in the history of the geopolitical nation state now known as Canada. As a social worker and strong helper, she will discuss how the legal system has situated our profession as a tool of the colonial project.
