This workshop will review the developmental stages that children go through, and how they relate to gender and sexuality. The presenters will discuss the nuances of allowing children to explore their identities versus enforcing societal norms, and the implications of both choices.

Learn how to work with families of children who are exploring or questioning their sexuality and gender, and how to help them navigate these complicated topics. There will be a mix of educational information, handouts and take aways, and case application.

We’re excited to present this workshop in person, at Conrad Grebel University College, University of Waterloo. It’s an opportunity to learn real and applicable skills from presenters with deep knowledge of the subject matter, and also to meet some of your peers, build your professional networks, and get inspired.
