Course Description

Have you experienced sexual harassment at work, or want to know more about your legal rights?

Have you witnessed sexual harassment but didn't know what to do? Want to learn more about Bystander Intervention Strategies?

Join the Peterborough Community Legal Centre and Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre for a two-hour online training session to learn about workplace sexual harassment and Bystander Intervention Strategies.

Bystander Intervention Training is an interactive workshop to empower, enable, and educate attendees to be able to identify, assess, and de-escalate situations. In this presentation, we will define what Bystander Intervention is, identify key techniques to an intervention, allow the audience to identify barriers to intervening, and practice their intervention strategies by discussing scenarios provided.
