WRAP Facilitator Training

This training is designed to help people learn to support others in learning how to use WRAP® in their own life. It is a requirement for facilitating a WRAP® group, to support individuals in seeking to find their own way of using the kind of ideas and practices in WRAP for themselves.

The emphasis in WRAP Facilitator Training is on how we can create safe learning environments by applying and modelling the Values and Ethics of WRAP.

WRAP Facilitator Training can also be very useful for those seeking a greater understanding of how to apply WRAP in their own lives.

Who is Eligible?
To participate, you will need to:

• Have completed WRAP or Introduction to Recovery Including WRAP and be able to produce a certificate that confirms this is so.
• Be able to describe how you have learned to integrate WRAP into your own life, including how you might have struggled and still do. Note that this does not need be perfect since this program provides opportunity to practice and improve.
• Briefly explain why you wish to take WRAP® Facilitator Training and how you hope to use your WRAP experience in sharing WRAP with others.
• Be able to make a commitment to work towards the Requirements For WRAP Facilitators set out by the Copeland Centre.
• Be available to attend the full five day training program.
• Fill out a Pre-Workshop Questionnaire - sent to registrants upon registration

WRAP Facilitator Training is offered over five days, Mon to Fri, plus some additional preparation hours, typically about:

• Two to four hours of reading and reflecting prior to attending the program.
• Up to one hour of reading, reflecting, and preparing, on each of Mon - Thu evenings.
• Willing and able to offer honest feedback on your experience to help us with the Formative Evaluation and improving the program.

• Time: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Location: CMHA Peel Dufferin 314 - 7700 Hurontario Street, Brampton, ON.
• Cost: $975 CAD + HST
• Total Cost: $1101.75
• Lunch is provided
