Children 12 and under are accidentally consuming edibles

The Canadian Paediatric Surveillance Program has just released its 2019 results. On pp. 30-31 of the report, you will find the details related to serious and life-threatening impacts of cannabis on the Canadian paediatric population over this time period.

Among the notable results, a full third of the harms that the paediatric population experienced due to recreational cannabis  are accidental, resulting from the unintentional consumption of edibles by children 12 and under.
