Ontario Health releases new quality standard on problematic alcohol use
Health Quality Ontario recently released new standards on "Problematic Alcohol Use and Alcohol Use Disorder: Care for People 15 Years of Age and Older". These quality statements describe what high-quality care looks like for people with problematic alcohol use. It applies in all health care settings, and outlines what high-quality care looks like from screening, to creating a care plan, to treatment of withdrawal symptoms, and more.

- performance indicators to help clinicians and organizations track their progress against the standard.
