Being in quarantine is already difficult and there are a number of additional issues that LGBTQI2S people may face. Egale, Canada’s leading organization for LGBTQI2S people and issues, has created a resource hub to help get LGBTQ2S+ persons through this difficult time. As a queer person who is also in the mental health field, I find it surprising that this is the leading organization for LGBTQ2S+ issues and I haven't heard of it, nor have a circle of queer friends I asked! Curious, but great to know about this resource now. Thank you!

U of T researchers create mental health resource for gay, bisexual and queer men
Researchers at the University of Toronto have launched a comprehensive website to support gay, bisexual and queer men’s mental health.
The resource, Goodhead.ca, is the product of significant community consultation work and is unique in its ability to communicate complex research, advocacy and practical advice in an accessible manner.
“Mental health is a topic of deep concern: one in five Canadians experience mental health challenges each year, but gay men are three times more likely to have depression and anxiety, and suicide is one of the leading causes of early death for gay and bisexual men, ” says site co-creator Mark Gaspar (left), a post-doctoral researcher working with Daniel Grace (right), an assistant professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health.
