Lack of awareness, comprehension & relevance are some reasons why it can take 17 years for research evidence to be taken up and used in practice. Knowledge translation helps to close this gap.

I performed this piece in June 2018 at the New Directions for Adolescents and Young Adults with Depression conference, put on by CAMH's Cundill Centre for Child and Youth Depression.
