Stress Report: A snapshot of socioeconomic status, housing quality and crime across Toronto neighbourhoods
Hi all,
Sharing this recently published report from the Wellesley Institute "Stress Report: A snapshot of socioeconomic status, housing quality and crime across Toronto neighbourhoods"
The report provides an snapshot of how some of the key social determinants of mental health are distributed across the city. This is an important look at intersecting social determinants at a neighborhood level, while highlighting the fact that a 'one-size-fits-all' approach to promoting mental health will not work in such a large, diverse and complex city like Toronto.
What do you all think of this report?
It's an interesting report. I wonder if we can also look at examples in other places/jurisdictions to apply lessons from there. Sadly it seems that the rising cost of living is not going to go away unless there is some political change.
