The study will result in a new communication competency framework for public health in Canada to address modern and complex public health challenges.
The information gathered may be used to inform the renewal of the PHAC Core Competencies. This CIHR-funded study is being conducted by Dr. Jennifer McWhirter from the Department of Population Medicine, University of Guelph.
The Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) is seeking feedback on a proposed approach to promote more equitable access and outcomes in mental health policy and programs. The IDEALSS framework integrates intersectionality, decolonization, health equity, anti-racism, lived and living experience, social determinants and sex- and gender-based analysis models.
