Two recent environmental scans by Public Health Ontario examine the evidence on the health and social impacts of safer supply programs for people who use substances including local, provincial/state, national and international examples of safer supply models, as well as evidence on the health and social impacts of drug decriminalization policies.

The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively affected people who use drugs through major disruptions in substance supply and increased risk of relapses and overdoses.
The Alliance for Healthier Communities is hiring for the first of two Knowledge Mobilization Specialist positions to work with the National Safer Supply Community of Practice. The position is full time for a contract until March 31st, 2023.
This will be an exciting opportunity of people passionate about drug policy, harm reduction, building community, and facilitating capacity development across sectors and disciplines.
