The Ontario Ministry of Health recently published Covid-19 guidelines for mental health and addiction service providers in community settings. These guidelines are intended for those who serve children, youth, and adults.

Lack of equitable access to technology has been a long-standing issue for vulnerable community members in Thunder Bay, and the pandemic has greatly exacerbated this and a host of other pre-existing equity issues. See how a group of organizations in Thunder Bay came together to help close the gap in access to technology in the community. 

We've heard more this week to indicate that Covid-19 is impacting some groups in Ontario disproportionately and that demographic data collection is necessary to adequately address the disease.

This resource was developed by Shkaabe Makwa at CAMH to uplift people's spirits during these unprecedented times.

The Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) has developed three crisis response training programs for essential workers: Caring for Yourself, Caring for your Team, and Caring for Others. Registration for these courses will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be available at no-cost for essential workers as defined by the Government of Canada here.
