Adults DBT Skills Group Events

Register for this 24-week DBT skills training group designed for adults (18+) who are struggling to manage intense emotions. You will be part of a safe, and shared space with other members (5-10 people) who are experiencing similar challenges. You will learn and practice skills to manage your mental health challenges or daily life stressors; you will gain better understanding of shared human experiences and gain hope and insights from others in the group.

Each group runs between 1.5 to 2 hours, the group allows for interactive discussions, support and encouragement.

The impact of physical distancing guidelines on people at risk for suicide is unknown but concerning. Enforced isolation may increase risk of suicide, and many coping strategies in standard suicide safety plans could increase risk of COVID-19 infection or violate public health orders. In an article published recently, researchers present a number of recommendations for modifying standard suicide safety plans in response to COVID-19.
