HAMILTON Training Narrative Therapy

On Feb 27-28, OAMHP will be in Hamilton to host a speciality training in contemporary ‘brief therapy’ that emphasizes exploration and development of therapeutic practice in time-constrained and community contexts.

This workshop will seek to excite the participants about what is possible in brief narrative conversations and bring renewed enthusiasm to practice. The application of theory will be grounded in practical skills that you can use the very next day.

Seeking methods on developing a list of 2SLGBTQ+ safe practitioners

Hello,

A colleague of mine is psychiatrist and is trying to compile a list of 2SLGBTQ+ supportive mental health practitioners in our area that she can refer out to. Due to some issues in our town with people self-identifying as allies but that not translating into their practice, she wants the list to come from members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Right now she's just talking to clients she sees but it hoping to have a better methodology.
