Call for Focus Group Participants: Co-designing a Fairness Dashboard Forum topic

We are recruiting participants for a 90-minute virtual focus group! We are recruiting folks to share their perspectives on the collection of health equity data (i.e., race, gender, age, etc) and the visualization of this data in a data dashboard.

Eligible participants include those who are over the age of 18, reside in Canada, and identify as as person with lived or living experience of a mental health or substance use disorder. Please see the attached poster for additional study details.

Help develop a tool for collecting health equity data in health care in Canada! Forum topic

The Upstream Lab at the MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions at St. Michael's Hospital is developing the SPARK Tool to collect data on people’s characteristics (such as gender, language preference, race) and social needs (such as income, housing, food security) in health care in Canada! Social needs can impact a person's health. Understanding someone’s characteristics and social needs can help improve healthcare.

To develop and validate the SPARK tool, they need a large number of Canadians to complete the tool so that they can make it better.
