✨The Call for Abstracts is now open. ✨
The Waypoint Research Institute is excited to announce our InSPIRE 2025 conference on taking place on June 2-4, 2025 at the Village Conference Centre in Blue Mountain, ON.
This conference focuses on Integrating Science, Practice, Innovation, Research and Experience (InSPIRE). Which will highlight and explore innovative and inclusive approaches to research, practice, and engagement in the mental health and substance use sector.
We are recruiting participants for up to four rounds of 10-minute online surveys that can help build better digital mental health tools for care!
The surveys can be completed at your convenience over a two-week window. The surveys will help us understand the factors that influence how users stay engaged with digital mental health tools in clinical care.
We are recruiting participants for a 90-minute virtual focus group! We are recruiting folks to share their perspectives on the collection of health equity data (i.e., race, gender, age, etc) and the visualization of this data in a data dashboard.
Eligible participants include those who are over the age of 18, reside in Canada, and identify as as person with lived or living experience of a mental health or substance use disorder. Please see the attached poster for additional study details.

Hello!
We are pleased to share October’s Patient and Family Learning Space newsletter with you.
We, at CAMH, are conducting a study where we are looking for healthcare providers to take part in a short demographic survey and a 60-minute interview to share their perspectives on the use of digital health solutions (i.e., “healthbots”) for improving varenicline adherence in patients who are trying to quit smoking. We hope to use this information to create an evidence-based healthbot to improve patient outcomes for medication adherence. For more information, please see attached study flyer.
