Obesity is already a major issue in North America but the competitive nature of games and the associated use of carb heavy foods which provide energy but little nutrition, provide increasing danger of diabetes.

Social isolation and alienation for non-game players is not healthy for a functional person as they lose their social skills and relationships with other friends and family members.
