The Gambling, Gaming & Technology Use Community of Interest brings together addiction and mental health service providers, researchers and subject matter experts in the fields of gambling, technology/Internet use and video gaming to collaborate and share knowledge on emerging trends and clinical best practices.

After their 24 year old son died by suicide from gambling-related debts, the parents of Jack Ritchie have joined the call for the UK government to make gambling a public health issue.  Campaigners argue that high numbers of young and vulnerable people are becoming addicted to gambling and calls for stronger government regulation and a precautionary approach to any kind of marketing by the betting industry.
