Evidence-based Assessment and Management of ADHD in Primary Care* Events
This three-hour workshop provides an introductory session to clinicians and healthcare professionals starting to diagnose and treat ADHD. Attendees will be provided with access to download the Canadian ADHD Practice Guidelines, 4th Edition (2018) and a print version of the ADHD toolkit. Using real life case scenarios and small group discussions, participants will be able to recognize ADHD and comorbid disorders and apply evidence-based treatments to address the challenges faced by children, adolescents and adults.

Many of us know someone living with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This developmental disorder is often diagnosed in childhood, but symptoms can continue throughout adolescence and adulthood. The most commonly cited signs of ADHD are impulsivity, hyperactivity and/or inattention. Lesser-known superpowers among those with ADHD include seemingly endless energy and the ability to hyperfocus when interested in a project.

6th Annual CADDRA ADHD Research Day Events
The CADDRA ADHD Research Day is the only one-day national meeting in Canada that brings together researchers, clinicians, educators and students from a wide variety of disciplines to share knowledge, discuss innovative research findings and develop new collaborative research projects in ADHD. Oral presentations – open to researchers working in Canada - include either a junior (i.e., trainee) or senior (i.e., independent professional) presentation on topics related to ADHD that advance knowledge in clinical research, education and advocacy.
