SafeTALK, about three hours in duration, is a training that prepares anyone over the age of 15 to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. Most people with thoughts of suicide invite help to stay safe. Alert helpers know how to use these opportunities to support that desire for safety.

Suicide Risk Assessment: The Art of Interviewing Events
Join us for a full day of training on the art of interviewing. Current research tells us that building relationships is the pathway to increasing our capacity to assess suicide risk. This training examines risk assessment from both at the client and a public health perspective. Therapeutic engagement, risk assessment, safety planning, identification and responding with appropriate interventions for risk reduction are addressed in this one-day session. This training shares the most current research as well as best practices for suicide risk assessment.
