In this webinar, we invite Leanne Needham and Josette Morin of the Early Psychosis Intervention Ontario Network (EPION) to talk to us about psychosis in the post-secondary context. Come learn about psychosis signs and symptoms, interventions, recovery, interactions with cannabis, and the resources available to students. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.

This presentation will outline the Slaight Centre’s unique model of care, NAVIGATE, which is an evidence based intervention aimed at helping youth recover from their first episode of psychosis. The core pillars of the program will be discussed, which include: medication/symptom management; individual resiliency training; case management; peer support; family support; and supported employment and education.

Join this roundtable of EPI providers and program participants for a meaningful discussion on how to better serve Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) populations.

Hope+Me - Mood Disorders Association of Ontario is offering a psycho-education and peer support program called Early Intervention Psychosis Family Forum. This is a group for family members and supporters with a loved one experiencing psychosis. Participants will receive psycho-educational tools, resources to cope with your loved one's psychosis and will also connect with other caregivers for meaningful discussion, and mutual support.
