The sexuality of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a topic of growing interest. The research, however, shows a lack of sex education tailored to the needs of these individuals.

This live-streamed event will be the official launch of our project, several years in the making. Central to the project are the real-life stories of gay men who use drugs and those who provide PnP-related care and support. Anchoring this work is our CME training and other resources on PnP for clinicians, community workers and other providers.

We hope to have as many interested providers join us to learn more about our work, the experiences of our community, and the opportunities available to increase knowledge and develop skills.

This webinar will present an overview of cannabis, with a focus on sex and gender influences. During this webinar, participants will become more familiar with cannabis fundamentals, risks and potential harms, therapeutic uses, and cannabis use and mental health. There will be a focus on sex and gender related factors influencing the prevalence, patterns, and effects of cannabis use and cannabis use disorder. Our presenter will also briefly discuss cannabis research studies happening at CAMH and how to get involved.
