Introducing EMDR: What is it and who is it for? Events
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a World Health Organization endorsed treatment for PTSD. This workshop will introduce participants to the neuroscience underpinnings of EMDR and to the range of presenting issues for which it is well suited. The aim is to provide participants with an understanding of EMDR so that they may explain to clients the benefits and risks of EMDR as a treatment and make decisions about pursuing EMDR training themselves.
