Research has yielded mixed findings about the relationship between hormonal contraceptive use and depression. The largest study to date on this topic — which included over one million women living in Denmark — concluded that women who are using the pill or other hormonal contraceptives are at an increased risk for depression.

Teens with Social Anxiety. Summer Group Events
This is an 8-session therapy group for teens with social anxiety. A CBT based program where teens learn how to challenge their fears using cognitive restructuring and doing exposure. An opportunity to interact with peers in a safe environment and learn how to make friends, plans for the weekend and to socialize.
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 5:30 pm
