This October, the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA) and the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) are co-hosting a webinar series on emerging cannabis research. This Cannabis Webinar Series focuses on mental health and policy to better understand the impact legalization has had on different populations and communities across Canada.

This three-part series provides an opportunity for research teams across Canada to share their study findings and policy implications.

I'm a cannabis education outreach worker for the Six Nations Reserve. I'm toying around with a workshop idea that will essentially keep idle hands busy and away from cannabis, while also educating about cannabis. The target audience would be children and youth. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on activities for this?

Pauktuutit, the national non-profit organization representing all Inuit women in Canada, has released a new report called "Cannabis in our Communities: What we Heard." This report comes after 11 months of engagement with Inuit women, their partners, and youth to learn more about their knowledge, attitudes, and behaviour towards cannabis.

The YMCA of Greater Toronto's Youth Cannabis Awareness Program (YCAP) is presently running a Digital Media Contest that challenges youth (ages 18 – 25) to create a video or poster discussing how cannabis use affects youth brain development, and we were wondering if you’d be willing to help us choose a winner by joining the Contest Organizer’s Jury (CO Jury).
