Course overview
Families are an immense resource in the care, treatment and recovery of individuals with co-occurring mental health and addiction problems. However, they often have limited access to the resources, information and help that they need to be supportive to the ones they love. This six-week facilitator-led online course for health care providers explores the needs of families affected by concurrent disorders, as well as the strategies that health care providers can use to empower families and ensure that their experiences are positive ones.

Cannabis Legalization in Canada: Is it a “Safe Supply?” Events
Participants will understand:
1. Cannabis legalization promised a safe supply of cannabis from a law-abiding, government-regulated industry
2. There have been numerous product seizures and recalls of compromised cannabis product from legal producers, some of which originated in the illegal trade
3. Legal cannabis producers have engaged in other forms of regulatory non-compliance and corporate crime that potentially places consumers at risk.

Cannabis Corporations: Where is the Harm? Forum topic
I will start by reframing the title of this issue: What does more harm – cannabis or corporations? This is a critical question in the current world-wide interest in cannabis law reform.
