The YMCA of Greater Toronto’s Youth Cannabis Awareness Program (YCAP) is running a Digital Media Contest and we need the help of youth ages 16-24, who are currently residing in Canada, to help determine a winner. The contest challenged youth from across Canada to create a poster and/or video discussing how cannabis use affects youth brain development.

For our 10th Ask The Expert, we are hosting an in-depth conversation on the importance of effective cannabis education.

Highlighting key individuals in the cannabis education sphere discussing meaningful youth engagement.

This panel highlights the expertise of Emma Hébert, Sylvia Clarke, and Heath D’alessio.

The Exploring the Link Team

Registration is now open for the online mini-course "Treating Concurrent Tobacco and Cannabis Use Disorder," offered by the TEACH program at CAMH.

Participants will learn to screen for concurrent use disorders and provide tailored cessation interventions.

I'm a cannabis education outreach worker for the Six Nations Reserve. I'm toying around with a workshop idea that will essentially keep idle hands busy and away from cannabis, while also educating about cannabis. The target audience would be children and youth. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on activities for this?

Pauktuutit, the national non-profit organization representing all Inuit women in Canada, has released a new report called "Cannabis in our Communities: What we Heard." This report comes after 11 months of engagement with Inuit women, their partners, and youth to learn more about their knowledge, attitudes, and behaviour towards cannabis.
