In this webinar, we invite Megan VanEvery, Indigenous Post-Secondary Knowledge and Research Lead at CICMH, to present the results of the Centre’s recent needs assessment for Indigenous staff and students in Ontario. Come hear about the barriers facing Indigenous students in accessing mental health services, Indigenous-specific mental health supports available on campus, as well as student and staff perspectives on how services can be improved. The Centre for Innovation in Campus Mental Health (CICMH) recently launched a new needs assessment for Indigenous post-secondary students, faculty and staff in Ontario.
Through the distribution of this needs assessment, we hope to highlight existing inequities in campus mental health with the goal of creating mental health knowledge management products to support the development of frameworks, policies and programs for Indigenous staff and students within post-secondary institutions in Ontario.
