Physical exercise is an inexpensive treatment that could have substantial preventative and restorative properties for cognitive function and mobility.

The objectives of the presentation are:
- Discuss the Alzheimer disease cognitive spectrum from Subjective Cognitive Decline to Mild Cognitive Impairment to Dementia.
- Review CCCDTD5 guidance on tools and approaches for dementia assessments.
We will review the evolution of Alzheimer's disease, highlighting opportunities for early detection. Additionally, we will walk through the CCCDTD5 guidelines on dementia assessments, focusing on principles, tools, and sources of information, to best detect AD early.

Hope + Me in partnership with CAMH is offering an online workshop series for older adults that are 65yrs old and above. It will help you recognize changes to your well-being and when it might be time to ask for help. This series shows you how to improve your mental health, spot the signs and symptoms of mental illness and addictions, and where to find help in the community.

For knowledge translation purposes I would like to post my recently completed thesis which focuses on cannabis policy and older adult (55+) use of cannabis for therapeutic purposes from a critical realist perspective (qualitative research).
CAMH Understanding Mental Health and Well-being in Later Life: A Series Overview Events
SCHC Caregiver Wellness is inviting seniors to join us for a 1.5 hour discussion on mental health conditions that may affect older adults and ways by which they can keep themselves well.
This will be the first module in a series of 12 workshops developed by Centre for Addiction and Mental Health’s (CAMH) Provincial System Support Program’s (PSSP) project team. This will be on January 26, and every 4th Tuesdays thereafter, from 11am to 12:30 pm via Zoom.

brainXchange webinar: Persons living with dementia who go missing: What do we know and how can we manage the risks? Events
The prevalence of missing persons living with dementia continues to increase and the outcomes of missing incidents can be devastating. It is suggested that 60% of persons living with dementia go missing at least once during the course of their condition, and at least 5% get lost repeatedly. Older adults including persons living with dementia also account for a growing proportion of search and rescue cases. In this webinar, we will share findings of a Canadian mixed methods study that explored the prevalence and antecedents of missing occurrences involving persons living with dementia.
