Inter-generational Fitness Group-West End Events
In partnership with the Community Place Hub, Unison HCS invites community members to participate in a new intergeneration fitness group. This group combines soca exercises (an infusion of African and Caribbean dance) and mindfulness to help community members reflect on their overall wellness. Youth attending the group will receive volunteer hours for participation. Contact Avaleen at 416-645-7575 ext. 2715 for registration.

By implementing these core components with fidelity, we can ensure that youth and their families receive the best possible quality of care irrespective of where they access services.
Mind Body & Soca Youth Events
Unison Health and Community Services and Yorktown Family Services will be collaborating to deliver Mind Body and Soca (MBS) program for youth aged 18-29. MBS incorporates socacize fitness which is a creative blend of Caribbean and African dance movements followed my mindfulness exercises.
MBS is opened to community members 18-29 of all genders and adaptations will be provided for all bodies and ability-levels. Community members are asked to register before attending the first session.
