Recent poll points to how kids are doing under Covid-19 restrictions Forum topic

The Angus Reid Institute, a Canadian non-profit research firm, recently completed a survey of 650 kids age 10 – 17 in Canada about their experiences and attitudes under Covid-19 restrictions. The results indicate that many kids are bored, miss friends, and are not liking and feeling motivated by schooling at home. In addition, a substantial portion are worried about missing schooling and about family members becoming sick.

My name is Jeremy Finkelstein from YouthMindful. We offer online, 1-on-1 mindfulness for youth. During the pandemic, our Introduction to Youth Mindfulness is pay-what-you-can, making mindfulness accessible to young people.

In this introduction session, we'll learn the practice of mindfulness and its application to living a healthier life. The sessions will include mindfulness meditations, exercises, and discussion to develop awareness skills for becoming more resilient in the face of everyday challenges.
