This is a 30-minute drop-in talk of how Fentanyl and Carfentil are worsening the opioid crisis. This talk covers the use of multiple substances and how it affects overdose response treatment. This live-streamed event will be the official launch of our project, several years in the making. Central to the project are the real-life stories of gay men who use drugs and those who provide PnP-related care and support. Anchoring this work is our CME training and other resources on PnP for clinicians, community workers and other providers.
We hope to have as many interested providers join us to learn more about our work, the experiences of our community, and the opportunities available to increase knowledge and develop skills.
How does pre- and peri-natal care intersect with harm reduction and safer supply practices?
The Harm Reduction Hangouts project (HRH) is a peer support-based harm reduction drop-in series, by and for 2SQTBIPOC youth. As we enter our last month of programming, the team is hosting final consultation circles for 2SQTBIPOC youth 16-21 to share their experiences with HRH drop-ins or, if they haven’t attended, why not/what they would have wanted.
Consultations are set for Wednesday, August 17 from 6-8pm (virtual via Zoom though possibly hybrid based on demand).

Starting this Wednesday, April 20th, the Harm Reduction Hangouts Drop-In for 2SQTBIPOC youth will be launched! We are open to all 2SQTBIPOC young people 16-21 interested in harm reduction and peer support spaces.
