After the workshop you will receive a summary of the presentation in multiple languages, including community-based resources.
The Centre for Mindfulness Studies is hosting another FREE mindfulness-based program for frontline staff, caregivers, and healthcare providers THIS FALL. This six-week mental health and mindfulness program was designed to help develop and sustain emotional well-being by learning coping skills and developing strategies to deal with difficult situations and feelings of isolation.
The CARE Program is being funded by the ECHO Foundation.

CARE is a six-week mental health and mindfulness program designed for frontline staff, caregivers, and healthcare workers to help develop and sustain emotional well-being during these turbulent times.
CARE is offered live online so you can attend the group from your home or workspace. Each session is 1 hour long and delivered by a certified mindfulness facilitator.
In this workshop, participants will:
Learn a little mindfulness! Our online info session will give you a brief overview on how best to learn mindfulness and what programs we offer for you to develop a practice.
Mindfulness is a non-judgmental way of paying attention to the present moment. Practising mindfulness helps you enhance your mental health. Research on 8-week mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) shows it is beneficial for reducing stress, improving mood, and increasing focus.

Focusing on the relationship between mood management and the mind-body connection, sessions offer a combination of breathing, movement, postures and mindfulness. Participants will explore the physical, mental and emotional benefits of a yoga practice.

My name is Jeremy Finkelstein from YouthMindful. We offer online, 1-on-1 mindfulness for youth. During the pandemic, our Introduction to Youth Mindfulness is pay-what-you-can, making mindfulness accessible to young people.
In this introduction session, we'll learn the practice of mindfulness and its application to living a healthier life. The sessions will include mindfulness meditations, exercises, and discussion to develop awareness skills for becoming more resilient in the face of everyday challenges.
